I know very little about most air pistols and I was wondering if the Łucznik WZ70 4,5 was based on the Walther LP3. Can anybody enlighten me.
Thanks

Re: Łucznik WZ70 4,5
The Lucznik pistol appears to have been heavily influenced by the Walther LP53 spring air pistol.
The Walther LP3 is a single stroke pneumatic pistol and is in no way similar to the Lucznik.

Re: Łucznik WZ70 4,5
My error I should have written LP53 - it was the similarity between a picture of a LP53 on this forum and a picture on Polish shops website that prompted me to ask.

There was a chap importing relatively large quantities quite cheaply, and they are a cost effective way of sampling this type of pistol.
However, you soon get to notice the quality differences when they are sat side by side with the genuine article.
The first thing I did was to strip it down, very easy, degrease, then re-lube. They then become reasonably functional, but are best suited to garden plinking.
I only had the gun on loan, but worthy of adding to a collection if you can get one for the £60 mark.
Kind regards,
Phil
