This is not a "made up gun" as these were done, for Webley, by Gerald Cardew.
I know for a fact they were sold by Airgun shops in the UK but these were produced in very limited numbers. This is the only one I have ever seen in the flesh as it were.

Hello Graham,

A member of the club that I use has one of these long barreled Webley air pistols which is kept in a nice, purposely modified case.

Not sure if you are already aware, but Gerald Cardew was also into the manufacture of early Chrono's and an interesting ballistic pendulum as mentioned in this earlier thread.

Gerald Cardew is a hero to many in the airgun world.

I remember his book "The Airgun from Trigger to Muzzle", though I never picked up a copy.

I remember the ballistic pendulums, as a member of a previous Airgun club had one. Can be a bit dangerous without goggles, as there can be splash back from the pendulum.

I do have one of Gerald's Airgun reviews somewhere, on the BSA Super Meteor.

Kind regards,

Well, I have in my possession the GC1 - the only one.
It was the first pre-charged air rifle Gerald built in it's entirety as the stepping stone to the GC2. Which I also have. I have number 200 which was Gerald's personal gun so pop down sometime to take a look Phil.
