Dirty Harry

Took delivery of my new revolver today - got it from Germany at a ridiculously low price.

Daisy 44 with 8 inch barrel  :D

Looks unused. Fully metal and much better build than the Crosman 357.
Interestingly, it is stamped as Umarex as well as Daisy, so perhaps it was for the German  or European market
Only shot a few pellets so far, as I've got family visiting this weekend, so have a number of tasks allocated :(  , but could not wait to try it out.

Definitely one to keep.

I'm very pleased with it. Probably not as powerful as the Umarex 586 but slightly lighter and easier to handle.
Drawback would be that the the magazines are hard to source, but as I bought a dozen from Ramsbottom when I got the 6 inch version last year, that's no problem for me  :)

Based upon the Smith & Wesson model 29.

An excellent find, and better looking for not being broken for the purpose of loading, as are the Crosmans.

Kind regards,

It was a tough decision today...... use the cash toward a new pistol, or a tuning kit for my HW97. In this instance the Rifle won (but only because my mate wants me to compete with him in HFT Recoiling in the new year)....sigh.. my mod6 with have to wait a little longer  :(

Blimey... thats a long-forgotten character :D
Does anyone remember the comedy western.."Cactus Jack".  Arnold Schwarzeneggar played the goodie with a "7-shooter"
