At first I thought this wa an RO71, but it's not.
Whilst it may look an RO71 at first glance;
It's actually .22 calibre.
I have been checking through my books/magazines, and have found a Sussex Armoury ad from a 1981 Airgun World that shows the Panther DeLuxe in .22 with the designation 2022, but only an RO71 in .177 calibre.
My next thought was whether a DeLuxe .22 barrel had ben fitted to an RO71, but they are different shapes around the breach block, and this is the correct barrel.
So, if anybody can find an advert referring to a .22 version of the RO71, then I'd be happy to see it.
Kind regards,
Phil

I have the .177 version, boxed, but have never shot it. This had a couple of pellets through it, last Thursday, and the trigger is bordering on needing two hands.
I think "garden plinker" is the best description.
Kind regards,
Phil
