Anyone with a link to the S/N lookup for Walther LP53, other
I have an LP53. The factory target is dated 18/8/58, and the serial number is 030806. The target indicates 1958 manufacture, but I would like to verify.

According to my info, the date on your test target would be a very accurate representation of the manufacture/dispatch date.
"S/N - 025734 : Jan 1958 through S/N - 033105 : Dec 1958".
The barrel weight would have been a later addition.
