Spare 8" Barrel for 586

I have had an offer sent to me via the BBS for an 8" barrel for £80 including postage.

Having never been in the market for one before I have no idea about the price - is this OK or a bit expensive?

The pictures and description suggests that it is mint and the black shiney finish, so it sounds good to me.

I did suggest that Bigjob contact you directly, via the BBS, if he had one, so it might well have been him.

I have seen dual barrelled kits offered for around £240 or so, and a 6" gun for around the £160 mark, so it doesn't sound too bad, especially as they are quite rare.

Ian sold one recently, so he might have a better idea.

Just seen >>this<< on Gunstar.

The £200 asking price would put the barrel at £40 to £60, so maybe £80 is on the high side.
