All these picture being posted of "wobblies" (how strange!), just thought i'd post another picture of a Good over-lever pistol so the wobbly owners know what to aspire to. M.zunmik wrote:I love these pistols my jumbo lux is a keeper, M.

A little wobbly abuse a day helps you work, rest, & laughingly play, M.gingernut wrote:Same as mine.

Re: Record Jumbo
Oh gawd you were right loads more wobbly stuff on pistols, perhaps they should have their own wobbly section so as not to clutter up the real pistol section.gingernut wrote:Same as mine.

Re: Record Jumbo
Record have made some quite distinctive pistols over the years, as well as "standard" styles.

Re: Record Jumbo
The one I had always shot high, seemed to be a problem with breech alignment I replaced the breech seal, but no difference I could detect no wear in the breech, the barrel aligned to the forward part of the breech, but on lock up pointed slightly high always I suspect a manufacturing fault as the pistol was a minter otherwise?, M.pmh wrote:Record have made some quite distinctive pistols over the years, as well as "standard" styles.

Re: Record Jumbo
I have seen some recent examples described as "excellent German engineering".
To be honest they are cheap and cheerful, no doubt being popular due to their, at the time, unique space age looks.
Nice to own as an example of a gun with quirky looks, but certainly not a high class shooter.

Phil
