Crosman SA 6 Musings

I took my two 6s into the garage for a workout yesterday.
Both working well despite not being fired for a while.

They are pleasant to use as they take time to load and are single action (obviously!)
Designed to be shot with one hand and with basic sights they are a classic shoot.

Like the 600s they enjoy verminpells and similar to the 600 tend to make large holes in your target after 6 .22 shots.

I assume Crosman feel that there is no demand for a new version but I would suggest they are wrong!

MIne are stripped polished and have wood grips thanks to a talented and patient friend.
Nothing wrong with the black painted original look if the paint has survived.

I am told that they are not too bad to fix when time catches up so if you get the chance add one to the collection.

I do have various holsters and a rig but that is for in front of my mirror only!

In a world of badly made replacements, most of which share the same internals, I certainly think there is a market for quality made airguns, and many of the manufacturers could do a lot worse than to reintroduce some of their earlier models!

If this was possible, what models would you like to see remade?

Kind regards,
