Millbro repeater .177 and Sharpshooter 175

Post by Navaleye » Wed Jan 15, 2014 1:08 pm

They both work. I doubt anyone would call these collectable since they are low end weapons. If anyone knows different please me me know.

Probably need a bit more information before anybody can comment.

Do you have model numbers, style of pistol, etc?

Kind regards,

Pictures taken this morning.

1. Millbro. This fires both .177 pellets and bbs

2. Sharpshooter 175. This is a bb only gun, note the hopper flap extended.

Both work well, never having much use. Does anyone collect them.

I think the 175 is made by Healthways i'm not a collector, but am sure collectors will want it, the Milbro looks like one of the G10 variants made under different guises, M.

Well spotted, if it's a Healthways. The only model I could remember was the Plainsman, which is CO2 and looks a little bit like a Luger.

The Milbro is the G10.This was my first thought, but couldn't say without a picture as Milbro have issued a few models.

I have posted a few examples of the G10, including one by Diana, which will be towards the start of the Air Pistol section.

I would certainly say both these are classics, as they are the type of pistol that get people started. The Healthways is certainly the rarer of the two.

Kind regards,

The Sharpshooter even says Healthways on the other side (i didn't look!). The serial number is 0239254. I prepared to offer both to a collector at a sensible price. Any thoughts on what their value might be before I put up a sale offer?

Edit: The other is a US made G10.

If i'm remembering correctly the 175 has an unusual curved barrel that curves down into the butt of the pistol, and seals onto a large rubber diaphragm that holds the bb to be fired which is spat out when the trigger is pulled. For a bb pistol it was surprisingly accurate or the one
that I worked on was, provided that daisy silver colour coated bb's was used. I used to restore guns for a local dealer 20-25 years ago back home in Peterborough. M.

I'm not sure about the Healthways, but I'd only put about £15 to £20 on the G10 due to its condition.

Good boxed examples only make around the £35 to £40 mark.
