W W Greener of Birmingham

Post by Tank » Sat Nov 08, 2014 9:38 pm

This last couple of months I have been restoring a couple of W W Greener rifles for a well known collector. When he purchased one of the rifles, the stock had been sent out by the owner for "restoration". I was totally astounded by the absolute abortion presented to me (AND the owner was required to pay before the stock was sent back to him) but it has ended well and the new owner is pleased with the result. This is NOT the result - this is where I started:

Wait for it, the chequering gets better on the other side :shock:

The end result was good though:

There is more in the full article over on: http://ten-metre.com/w-w-greener-of-bir ... air-rifle/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
graham.
I’m going off to go find myself. If I’m not back by the time I return, keep me here.
