Not a classic, but a low recoil rifle with tight grouping, (click for pic). M.

A nice rifle, not seen one before.

If it's anywhere near the standard of their target pistols, then I am sure it's very accurate and a joy to shoot.

Kind regards,

Phil

As some will know i have recently started bell target rifle using this "izzy" as i needed a light rifle due to injury problems, its very accurate, from a benchrest pellet after pellet go through the same hole. i could not repeat this at all (several years since i shot rifle) after a lot of practice i found it was not me, i was ok on club guns, and it was decided the gun was to light, but had to keep the weight added away from my right shoulder so the brass barrel weight was fitted + stick on weights @ the front of the stock + a couple near the breech thus most added weight on my left arm not affected by my injuries. I am now getting tight groups,
and feel confident to take on the 10mm bell target. it now also sports a red dot sight (ok as its non magnifying), M.

Good picture.

Glad to hear you are taming the rifle and adjusting it to your requirements.

They are certainly one to have a go with.

Kind regards,

"IZZIE" Update.

Post by zunmik » Fri Feb 22, 2013 9:39 pm

Since i started using the rifle i have made a number of changes to it
the brass barrel weight has been replaced by the steel one from my Walther which is not needed on the Walther, this allows me to refit the
diopter sights which i prefered, i have also made adjustments to the
trigger & sights. Over time my practice has continued & since the changes
made allowed me to refit the diopter sights, i have made some significant
improvements in my scoring now well up with club averages :D . Whilst
this has worked for me its simply the case that this rifle has been adapted to suit my disabilities & may not work for all, i have also changed my hold in order to achieve the improvements. I will do some update pics this weekend this will show the original peepsight fitted, which i replaced with a fwb diopter rearsight as the peepsight is very fiddly to adjust the windage on, M.

Out of interest, can this rifle be operated single shot?

Yes the rifle has a 5 shot clip, & since bell target is shot in 6 shot strings i always have to put one pellet in the clip to finish the string off, & you could if you wish do this for every shot just keep loading the first hole in the clip. M.

"IZZIE" Update/changes

Post by zunmik » Sat Feb 23, 2013 12:01 pm

Three more izzie pics to show the changes, pics show original peepsight, i don't use it to fiddly for windage i use a diopter much better, the peepsight works, but is a bit crude, then of course the whole gun is under £100 new,M. :)
