GAT Air rifle

Post by Mark » Fri Mar 29, 2013 9:23 pm

Does anyone else have one of these?
I have two. Some years ago they were being advertised for £22.50 each or 2 for £40, so I got two. One we have been using and one is stored in its original box.
They do about 400 fps with pellets and are surprisingly accurate compared to a pop-out pistol, being able to hit a tin can every time at 15 yards. A few goes with the supplied corks soon show you why you can never deliberately hit the prizes at a funfair.
A GAT rifle, some darts and a wooden target make a good surprise tie breaker event at a serious rifle or shotgun shoot.

Seen pictures, but never one in the flesh.

I was slightly outbid for one on ebay, last year, advertised in bits for spares or repair, but it was all there.

You'll have to post some pictures.

Kind regards,

A bizarre concept, but quite rare now, so commanding quite a decent part.

I saw one ebay, which had been taken apart and was being sold as "spares or repair".

I put a bid in, but it quickly rose to the point that I didn't think it was worth it.

Kind regards,
