British Pellets
Over the years I have come across many brands of "British" pellets, but have recently come across some I hadn't heard of before.
As such, I thought I'd start to compile a list:-
Airship
Black Boy
Britannia
BSA (Adder, Pylarm, Witton)
Cat Slugs
Champion
Champion Challenger
Eley (Wasp)
Fagan
Lanes (Beatall, Bulldog)
Lightning
Marksman
Milbro
Nickerson
Sussex Armoury Jackal
Sussex Sabo
The King
The Prince
Webley
If I have missed any, then please let me know and I'll add them to the list.
Kind regards,
Phil

Oh yes, Lanes Beatall.
I'll put them down as Beatall as Lanes also made Bulldog.
Kind regards,
Phil

Re: British Pellets
Hi All
I'm a new member and have never posted here before. I used BSA and Webley air rifles/pistols in the 1950's, mainly BSA Airsporter and Webley Mk III, also several Webley air pistols. I collected and used to shoot British Military single shot firearms (Brown Bess to Martini Henry) from the mid 1960's until about the mid 1990's and I also started a small collection of pre first and second world war BSA/Lincoln Jeffries type air rifles during the 1980's.
I am now retired and moved to Spain about 8 years ago and have just started another small collection of Webley air pistols (3 so far and negotiating a fourth) - all other firearms and many bayonets, accessories and ammunition, etc. disposed of before the move .
Airgun laws are quite kind here in Spain, 18 ft/lbs, no formalities to buy, keep and use on your own land or target ranges but must be declared to the local Mayor.
I have decided to limit my Webley pistol collection to the major types (steel bodied/blued only) and then specialise in one particular type - probably the pre-war Mk I straight grip which IMHO is the best looking and most interesting of the lot.
Also I am looking for a pair of tinplate grips for a late pre-war Webley Junior air pistol (J30xxx serial range) - probably a rather forlorn hope, but if you know of any ...
A few more UK pellet types that might be added to the list:- Adder, Witton, Wasp and Pylarm.
ATB Chris.

Re: British Pellets
Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the extra information on pellets.
We do have a dedicated Webley & Scott section, which should help you.
Kind regards,
Phil

Re: British Pellets
Sussex Sabo?
Interesting little things and as far as I know the only sabotted round ever made for airguns, I bought a few packs when someone down south found some old stock & auctioned it off.

Fast, Cheap, Good.
Pick only 2 of the above.

Re: British Pellets
Well reminded.
I have some somewhere, with about 3 used.
I remember putting one through a 3/4" pine board with my Webley Omega, then putting them away as dangerous.
Kind regards,
Phil
