Webley Mark 1 restore

A place to discuss all things Webley. As this is probably the most collected airgun maker we felt it deserved a section of its own.

Webley Mark 1 restore

Post by SquirtGun » Mon Feb 15, 2016 1:35 pm

Hi All...I'm new here and have learned a lot in 3 days reading....Thank You!...I'm in the United States Of America and I have a MK1 sn# 33402. I decided to restore it and found out that it needs the screw that holds the plunger in cause the screw, Not the female side, is stripped. It also needs a main spring because about 3/8" was broke off the end. So...I'm trying to re-assemble it. Everything is back together BUT when I put the main spring assy and tube in, and screw the nut on the back, the cocking lever wont go down all the way. Anyone have any ideas. I know it must be a minor thing that you guys have seen. My intentions were to restore and sell it.
