Firearms certificates - remember these?

Some bits of paper that bring back an awful lot of fond memories - apart from the receipt I had when I sold my .357 Magnum S&W Model 19 and its rim fire cousin I used for indoor practice my .22 Model K.

I still have the receipts and paperwork from the 1997 hand in.

I probably got back more than I ever paid out, but I'd have preferred to keep my guns.
