Shooting Plaque

I was checking "New Posts" on the ABBS, and I found a thread pointing to this item on eBay.
I put a bid in, about £6.50 I think, forgot about it, and won.
It was described as Eschwege Marksman Club, and a Google search shows some reference to such a club, but nothing conclusive.
I was drawn to this, as the pistol is quite cearly an Original Model 6 with the plastic grip.
The small shield says:-
Schützenver
Eschwenge
with E.V. 1433 underneath.
Schützenver translates to: protection insurance, and Eschwenge is the name of a town/city.
Standeinweihung translates to: as of inauguration.
Sieger translates to: winner.
As there are no initals I take it to be position, rather than a surname.
Interesting piece.
Kind regards,
Phil
