I've recently acquired a Birmingham made Webley Tempest and would like some advice on lubrication points and recommended lubricants. Thanks in advance....

Re: Webley Tempest
In all honesty I wouldn't lube it much at all. The piston head doesn't really need it, and most pivot areas have enough clearance not to be a worry. However if you want to lube pivot points, use a light moly oil from a reputable gun shop; do not use a basic silicone oil, it 's not an actual lubricant and will cause wear on metal joints; oil very sparingly but again not in the cylinder.

Lucky person!
I am hoping to pick a tempest up myself, but looking for a project to keep price down. I want to learn how to strip it down and rebuild, so if you want to throw yours on the floor a few times and sell it cheap
